A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough shell that covers or completely contains a filling of various sweet or savoury ingredients.

  • Measuring Cup & spoons
  • Knife
  • Pie Plate
  • Mixing Bowls

Ingredients

  • 9 Medium Peaches
  • 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Tapioca
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2 Pie Crusts
  • 1 Egg White
  • Cooking Spray

Methods/steps

  1. Peel and slice peaches about ½ inches thick. Place in bowl
  2. Combine sugar and tapioca in separate bowl.
  3. Pour sugar mixture over peaches and fold in with large spoon.
  4. Spray pie plate with cooking spray and place (1) unfolded pie crust inside- smooth out crust over sides and bottom.
  5. Add peaches and top with ¼ inch slices butter.
  6. Unfold remaining pie crust and top pie. Crimp edges to seal pie.
  7. Brush entire top of pie with egg white.
  8. Place on cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven: @ 450 degrees for 15 minutes; then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake another 45 minutes.
  9. Let cool before slicing. ENJOY!
