Pesto Sauce

Pesto is a sauce originating in Genoa in the Liguria region of northern Italy, in reference to the sauce's crushed herbs and garlic. |
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup basil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
Methods/steps
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor.
- Refrigerate or use immediately.
- Serve over pasta or chicken.
