Mom's Peanut Butter Pie
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of butter (Crust)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (Crust)
- 2 1/2 cups of rice krispies (Crust)
- 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
- 1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 3/4 cups of peanut butter
- 3 tbsp lemon juice from concentrate
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream (whipped)
Methods/steps
- In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt butter and the chocolate chips.
- Remove from heat and mix in rice krispies until completely coated.
- Press into bottom and sides of well greased 9” pie plate to cool.
- In a separate bowl mix cheese until fluffy. Mix in milk and peanut butter until smooth.
- Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
- Fold into whip cream or cool whip.
- Pour into Chocolate Crunch crust.
