Crazy Queso
A Quesadilla is a dish in Mexican cuisine or Tex-Mex, which involves cooking ingredients, most importantly cheese, inside a corn or wheat tortilla or a wrapping of masa (cornmeal dough). The word comes from Spanish, and literally means "little cheesy thing".

  • Sharp knife
  • Table spoon
  • Medium frying pan (or griddle)
  • Pot holders
  • Metal spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Option of fresh Salsa from Thomasʼ webisode

Methods/steps

  1. Grate all the cheese.
  2. Cut 2 tablespoons butter into 4 pieces and set aside.
  3. Slice your avocado in half carefully along the middle, and then slice the inner halves into four pieces.
  4. Move your ingredients over to the stove since youʼll be assembling the Crazy Quesos there.
  5. Turn stove on to medium, and put 1 piece of butter and coat bottom of the pan.
  6. Place tortilla in pan and sprinkle half with grated cheeses.
  7. Flip the bare side onto the cheesy side and gently press down.
  8. Flip it when cheese is melted and underside is lightly brown, and turn stove to low heat.
  9. Cut how you like and serve with the avocado from earlier or the salsa from Thomasʼ last webisode.
