Cantaloupe Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cantaloupe
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp allspice
Methods/steps
- Remove seeds and cut up flesh of 1 cantaloupe
- Simmer cut cantaloupe in small amount of water on stovetop for about 10-15 minutes
- Drain water and puree cantaloupe in blender
- Return pureed cantaloupe to sauce pan and add: sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, all spice
- Stir over low heat till thickens (about 20-30 minutes)
