Bacon & Tomato Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp softened butter
- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1 - 1oz slice American cheese and
- 1 - 1oz slice Colby cheese
- 2 slices crisp cooked bacon
- 1 slice tomato
Methods/steps
- Cover only one side of the bread with butter and place in a pre-heated non-stick skillet over medium heat
- Top the bread with American cheese, Colby cheese, bacon, and a tomato slice on the opposite side without butter.
- With butter side out, add the other slice of bread on top.
- Grill each side until golden and the cheeses are melted.
- Serve immediately.

Grilled Cheese was by far my favorite sandwich to eat when I was younger... with a touch of tomatoes and bacon it is a light yet just the right amount of food for lunch time. Its also very quick to make !!!!
