Apple Custard Pie
Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup corn syrup
- 2 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- ¼ cup corn starch
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie crust
Methods/steps
- In a bowl, combine
sugar & corn starch.
- Whisk in eggs.
- Stir in butter, corn
syrup & vanilla extract.
- Fold in half of the
apples.
- Pour into pie crust.
- Place remaining apples
in overlapping circle on top of pie.
- Bake in 375 degree
oven 50 minutes or until center of pie is set.
- Cool on wire rack.
