Apple Cinnamon Pecan Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup evaporated low fat milk
- 3 cups peeled, finely chopped apples
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Methods/steps
- Combine flour, baking
powder, cinnamon & nutmeg in bowl.
- Beat butter &
sugar until creamy; beat in eggs & vanilla.
- Alternately beat in
flour mixture & evaporated milk.
- Stir in apples &
nuts. Spread batter into baking pan.
- Bake 40 minutes in
preheated 350 degree oven.
- Cool in pan on wire
rack for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered
sugar.
- Cool completely before
serving.
